The court on Thursday dismissed an appeal lodged by the country’s prosecutor-general and upheld the ruling of a lower court in the case, PAP said. The printer, who was identified only as Adam J. (last name withheld under Poland’s privacy laws), had refused to serve the LGBT group saying he did not want to “promote” gay rights, according to reports. A regional court in the central city of Łódź in May last year cited the principle of equality before the law and said the man did not have the right to refuse the service.
